Fingerprint recognition key officially released

Recently Yubico released the YubiKey Bio to the public for the first time. this is the USB latching fingerprint scanning security key system that was first previewed to the world back at the Microsoft Ignite conference 2019. This key system is now available in two interface versions, one for USB-A and the other for USB-C, both with a fingerprint module.

The YubiKey Bio series works with FIDO protocol support, WebAuthn and U2F. This new system uses fingerprint authentication, replacing the PIN code of the previously released system. Also, if the user's fingerprint fails to register (due to unclean fingers or other similar oddities), YubiKey Bio can be logged in using the PIN code mentioned above
